What to expect
You will visit my apartment in Porto where you will learn how to cook – hands-on! – traditional Portuguese recipes that I learned from my mother and grandmothers. In 4 hours, you will cook (don’t worry, I’ll guide you step-by-step), and taste the dishes at my dining table, while having a fun time.
In this culinary experience you will LEARN HOW TO MAKE:
- A Portuguese traditional soup
- A Portuguese main cod dish
- A Portuguese dessert
- A Portuguese typical drink made with wine
You will also have appetizers (seasoned olives, cheese and smoked meats) and also water, coffee and tea.

Yes it is possible, but you must pay for the minimum number of participants: 4.
Sorry, but for safety reasons, it is not possible to book for more than 6 people.
Sorry, but it is not possible to have babies/children under 16.
You can come to watch the others cook and participate in the gathering around the table, while you taste the fantastic meal that will be prepared.
You don’t have to print your voucher. You can save it and show the image upon arrival.

Your cook host
I was born and raised in Porto and I love to cook. My mother and both grandmothers gave me the passion and taught me everything I know about Portuguese traditional cuisine.
I took cooking classes at the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Porto to learn more and improve the cooking techniques. I am also the author of the recipe book “Cozinha da Beira Alta”, which gathers the traditional recipes of the Beira Alta area, where my family comes from.
I am passionate about the culture of my country and I love to share it while I am cooking with others and having a good time preparing delicious Portuguese dishes, that’s why I decided to share my passion with the world and I started these cooking workshops to spread the love for Portuguese cuisine.

For a 50% refund, cancel up to 72 hours in advance of the start date of the experience.
